Quantum Utilities' team of reticulation specialists provide highly-qualified, expert personnel to manage reticulation design and services projects of any type and size. Our reticulation specialists have the additional support of experts in related disciplines and international expertise.

Quantum Utilities thrives on finding cost-effective solutions and efficiencies for our clients. We draw on our considerable experience with a range of installation technologies. We ensure the appropriate consents are sought, and that our designs do not adversely affect the quality of life people in the community expect. For example, we offer construction methodologies to minimise disruptions during pump station upgrades so that existing pump stations can operate while new works are undertaken. We use directional drilling in new water installations, where appropriate to minimise disruption to major roads. It is frequently the least disruptive option available, and enables tunnels to be drilled where conventional open-cut technologies cannot work.

Quantum Utilities uses a number of initiatives to manage Water and Gas reticulation systems, these include:

Generic site visit frequency and routine operational maintenance tasks for above ground assets will be detailed for preventative maintenance.

Technology

Technology that allows remote monitoring and reporting of data is now becoming key to Best Practice operations within Global Reticulation Management. This type of technology is commonly known as TELEMETRY.

Telemetry has become indispensable for reticulation water and gas management applications, including Water and Gas Network Management, Water and Gas Quality and Water Level functions. Major applications include Automatic Water and Gas Meter Reading, Reservoir monitoring, groundwater, Leak Detection in distribution pipelines and equipment surveillance.
