Examples of a sample of the projects delivered by Quantum Utilities Limited:

15km Water Mains Reticulation around Lagos Metropolis (May 2011)
Lagos State Government awarded QUL a contract for reticulation of 15000m of mains extension for Ajegunle, Badagry and Otto Awori Water project. This involved trial holes, pipe laying (100mm – 450mm), dewatering of trenches and installation of fittings, fire hydrants (with valve chambers), supply and installation of sluice valve and chambers, precast indicator posts thrust boring of culvert and concrete support, air valves installation, provision and installation of public standpipe.

Other major activities included thrust boring across the Lagos – Badagry Expressway at two locations; connections to and repairs of existing mains, water mains connections to 1200 housing units, pressure testing, reinstatement of asphalt and concrete.

Pilot Installation of Lagos Water Telemetry System (Mar 2012)
This project was delivered under the 2nd National Urban Water Sector Reform Project (2NUWSRP) Project objectives include increased access to potable water and improving financial viability of the water utility.

Feasibility Study - Agbara Estate Sewage Pumping Station Redevelopment (Jan 2012, Client: Agbara Estate)
QUL undertook feasibility study on the redevelopment of the redundant Agbara Estate Sewage Pumping Station.

Water Industry Operational Excellence Training (April 2011. Client: LWC)
QUL, through its Capacity Building Training arm, delivered a two-week Water Industry Focussed Operational Excellence Training programme tailored to suit requirements for in-house delivery for Water Corporation Production and Distribution Staff.

The Redevelopment of Festac WwTW – Proposal Document (Oct 2010, Client: LSWMO)
Proposal document developed for Lagos State Waste Management Office (LASWMO) on the planned redevelopment of Festac Town Centralised Wastewater Collection and Treatment System – Lagos Sate Government 5-year Wastewater Master Plan.

Water Treatment and Distribution Best Practice Training (June 2010, Client – Lagos Water Corporation)
To conduct this assignment, QUL used a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals, with experience in similar best practice training in the UK. The objective of the training was to enable LWC Management to understand the strategic importance of utilising Best Practice Training for its Production and Distribution Staff. Utilising best practice techniques will enable the improvement of the overall management of water supply services in Lagos.

Technical Review of Potable Water Supply Infrastructure (February 2012, Client – Federal University of Technology, Akure)
Evaluation of current capacity of water resource, water treatment & storage and water distribution. Condition grade (mechanical, electrical and civil) assessment of all water assets.

Demand Gap Analysis of current water assets capacity against current need and forecast future (2023) demand. Development of prioritised and costed options to address any identified current and forecast demand gaps.
